About Collingwood College

As a Prep to Year 12 college in inner-suburban Melbourne, Collingwood College offers a genuine choice of pathways for students and a vibrant, collaborative educational environment.

Collingwood College provides challenging, progressive and engaging educational programs building upon strong foundations established in the primary years.

Our mission is to ensure each student experiences personal, physical and creative growth and aesthetic expression within a challenging academic framework.

This is enhanced in the secondary school years through special programs, including numerous options in VCE studies through collaboration with Fitzroy High, inspirational outdoor education, VET studies and strong instrumental music and art programs, as well as a specialist Steiner program from Prep to Year 10.

The college also has excellent ICT facilities and a 1:1 laptop program from Years 7 to 12.

The Collingwood College learning community encourages students to be future world citizens who are competent and creative thinkers, enquirers and negotiators, inventors who collaborate, lifelong learners and individuals with a strong sense of self.
