在澳洲名校读本科，是不是不读honour就不能去英美名校读授课硕士?

    英国倒是可以的，美国的话一般来说要4年制的本科，所以澳洲需要多读一个honour，去英国可以读，有些学校和专业可能要让你多读一年。
    能去美国就去美国吧，英国的研究生水平一般般。

    请不要受某些答案的误导，这个问题本人有认真研究过。如果在澳洲读没有honor的普通三年制本科学位，基本是不能直接进入英美顶尖名校（这里指的是英国G5和美国常春藤）读master的，这些在很多高校的官网上有明确的标注。
    不知道题主是什么专业的，我就以留学热门的商科专业来举两个例子

    Imperial College Business School (IC)

    We require a Bachelor’s degree awarded with First or Upper Second Class honours from a recognised university.

    Please note that we only accept honours degrees and are not able to accept ordinary degrees.

    International Entry Requirements


    The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

    To be considered for admission to a master's degree, we require a 4-year bachelor's (honours) degree with a 2:1, Distinction, Division A, Division 1 or B+ in the majority of individual component marks. For students taking the three year bachelor's degree we would require excellent grades of First Class, or High Distinction and an A in individual component marks. Where a GPA system is used we require an overall mark of 6.0/7.0 in the three year degree or 5.5/7.0 for bachelor's (honours) degree.

    Entry requirements



    牛津剑桥和美国常春藤的申请要求比这两所只会高不会低，目前来看如果是澳洲普通三年制本科目标去英美顶尖名校读授课类硕士的话就是需要加读honor学位，但也存在一定风险（读完honor是否能拿到二等一或一等一的学位，以及拿到二等一学位也不一定可以保证申请到顶尖名校）和性价比的问题（英国的一年授课类硕士的含金量及承认度），大概就这样。

    hons4年在澳洲本来是给每个系TOP 5%人读的，但现在澳洲悉尼大学改革了课程设置任何人都可以读4年文凭，任何人都可以读完申请美国大学，当然申请哈佛带奖学金的PhD仍旧需要系里的前几名，但申请水硕像哥伦比亚的统计文凭，就凭悉尼大学4年非hons文凭就够了，4年是必须，但hons不是必须的。
