About Marian College Sunshine West

Marian College is a Catholic secondary school for girls. In the tradition of the Brigidine Sisters, Marian College offers a strong curriculum, within a holistic framework for student wellbeing.

A broad general program of studies in Years 7 and 8 ensures students have the opportunity to develop a wide range of subject-based skills and knowledge. A specialised program in Year 9, a diverse elective program in Year 10 and comprehensive Senior School options in the VCE, VET and VCAL programs allow students to develop pathways to suit their individual interests and abilities.

The Marian College of tomorrow will continue to build on traditional Brigidine core values, providing a learning and teaching program that is comprehensive, holistic and contemporary. The physical environment has been upgraded to include Year 7 and 8 general purpose learning spaces and a Language Centre. This has been complemented with a Trade Training Centre (Hospitality and Hairdressing), an extended multi-purpose hall which houses a gym/weights room, and a refurbished Senior School complex. The college has a strong commitment to digital technologies, with personal access to a laptop computer for all students.
